Varied styles in one small Newmarket street - Rous Road

The late 19th and early 20th century was a time of considerable house building for the middle and wealthy classes of Newmarket
and individual designs flourished. Rous Road was built in the late Victorian period and named after Admiral Rous, retired Admiral of the
Fleet, Newmarket resident and racehorse owner.
